Love the rain, keep your books dry!
Books are made from paper; paper is made from wood; wood comes from trees; trees LOVE water. Save money by keeping your books dry.
Soaking wet
Really wet books are hard to salvage. Paper towels might help remove the water, but the water leaves a mark.
Dry now, but damaged
Even though the book has dried, the water has caused the pages to get wavy, stuck together, or have stains. Mildew may also grow.
Just a drop?
Dry it off with a tissue or paper towel. Pat, don't rub, or the ink may come off.
Got your book wet?
