Every 1 Learns

Dr. Hargens has secured funding for tier 2 & 3 students to receive before and after school support. In the morning students that are here for CEP are on SuccessMaker, Study Island, Math IXL, Timez Attack or exploring technology. Tracy Coleman-Simpson is supervising students in the technology lab from 7:45-8:15a.m. There are plenty of computers in the lab that are still available.

We Succeed

Dr. Hargens has also funded another program, "We Succeed." Certified staff members will meet with potential tier or tier students after school and provide a blended learning model. Teachers will facilitate a mini lesson and students will then rotate to utilizing Ipad apps specific to their personal math and reading needs.

Meeting Students Where They Are............................

"Do not confine your children to your own learning, for they were born in another time." Ancient Hebrew Proverb

I love the above photo of students in Mrs. Wolf's class communicating and collaborating about their Crayfish project. Mrs. Wolf acted as the facilitator and activator of their learning. She provided the 21st Century learning environment for the digital natives and let them use the tools they already know how to use.

International Society for Technology in Education

We need every staff member to take a picture if you did not take one on picture day. We can not have blank pictures in the yearbook or class pics. Say cheese!
