Causes of the Great Depression
Poster 3 of 3 - Tiered Project
The Dust Bowl
It wasn't necessarily a direct cause to the Great Depression, but there was an awful time in the West during the 1930s in which terrible drought conditions occurred. Dust blew around everywhere, and people had to cover their windows and doors with blankets or towels to keep it out of the house. Many had to give away their farms and other belongings to make it through. It was basically a small depression during the Great Depression that only effected the West.
