2. The female reproductive system helps the egg fertilized when the egg goes thro the fallopian tube(s) to the ovary.
oviduct/fallopian tube(s)- Connects the ovaries to the uterus
uterus- A pear-shaped organ with a thick muscular wall
vagina- The birth canal and the place where men give women their sperm
Female Menstrual Cycle
menstruation/hormone level- when progesterone goes down, the lining of the uterine also breaks down.
Male Reproductive System
Sperm- The male sex cell or gamete
Semen- The sperm and extra fluids glands add to it
Penis- The male external reproductive organ that gives the sperm to the female
Mid-Piece- Creates energy for the sperm.
Tail- Propels the sperm through the females body
Important Male And Female Hormones
Estrogen- A major sex cell in a female's reproductive system.
Progesterone- A major sex cell in a female's reproductive system.
Placenta- The embryo's organ of respiration, nourishment, and excretion.
Umbilical Cord- The energy line that connects the baby to the placenta .
