- When you read the preceding, what popped into your head?
From the Desk of Mr. Wagner
Over the summer, the administration worked collaboratively with the counseling department and Mr. Colarocco to make some positive changes to our alternative program. It is evident that a very small percent of our student population struggles in the regular setting, so we wanted to alter the alt program so it could effectively support that population. Some of the changes that were made include:
- Content specialists in Math, Science, English and Social Studies push-in to deliver lessons provided by the teacher of record
- Ms. Reinholtz, Ms. Sinicropi, and Ms. Leonard will work closely with the alt school to support student needs
- Mr. Colarocco will focus on program management and delivering elective lessons

Mr. Steve, "Good morning gentlemen, I have some news finally to tell you Ben Simonse will be going to Kelley to take Matt's place and William (BJ) Forjone will take Gene's spot on the 17th."
LGBT students still endure hostile school environments: "Despite legal and cultural changes over the last decade, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender students still endure "hostile school climates," with about half of students reporting they hear homophobic, sexist or racist remarks from their peers often or very often at school and nearly three-quarters reporting personally experiencing some type of victimization. Ten years after the Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network first released a report examining harassment and bullying of LGBT students, it unveiled an updated look at school climate Wednesday."
