the plot is mixed feelings meaning its never sad for to long like when the dad falls off the ship and they are really sad but later there happy not because there dad fell off but because they where on an island and having fun and at the end its even less sad since something happens its weird how somthing could do this sometimes its a angry type feel to the story when the dad forces gerry to go under water while ben tries to stop him there sothers to its weird sad happy confusing theres no extent to where this thing could go

Red as in anger for the character ben he is so mad half the story he is mad he cannot stop yelling and stuff he went so far to say " go to he** all of you" i was like wow even after all of the story when he wanted to go home at the end of the book he gets that chance and says no his dad is back and everyone is ok he has the nerve to say no after whining over and over he just had to say no but its not like that when it ends he goes with them *spoiler alert* oops to late

the theme is dark light felling because it just like i said in plot its not sad but not happy the quotes are worse one is funny and random it said "its a suicide note' but one creepy one is when it said "its infinite contain its past enlisted to percieve new peroids of pain" weird right i thought so this book is creepy and happy never one the whole time in a chapter it was sad then happy sad then happy thats how the chapters go they always forget what happend in the chapter befor so thats the theme
