Teacher Appreciation Week is a special time in the life of our school. It is one week out of the year when we celebrate all that our teachers and staff do to educate our students. They spend countless hours planning for instruction, grading papers, conferencing, and attending professional learning opportunities outside of the regular school days. They do this because they love their career & your children and want to see them progress and succeed.

Each day of the week is planned to "treat" teachers and staff in a special way.

Monday - share a smile

Tuesday - give a hug

Wednesday - make a card

Thursday - give a compliment

Friday - class supply donation

(ask your teacher what she needs for the classroom like: pencils, crayons, paper, tissues etc. have boys bring in one thing and girls bring in another. You can get creative when giving the items to the teacher)

PTA is hosting a luncheon for the teachers on Wednesday! Thank you Dena Thomason, Hospitality Committee Chair, for organizing the luncheon. We love you!!!

An amazing resource right here in Gwinnett County! The center offers free and low cost educational and adventurous activities for the whole family! Sign up for their monthly newsletter.
