Magers Memo
December 15th, 2017
Quotes I read this week that are worth mentioning/remembering:
"Everything we do as educators is magnified. We must always hold ourselves to a high standard. Each action we take serves to make the profession either stronger or weaker." David Geurin
How are you holding yourself to a higher standard? If you were to analyze your actions this week would they serve to make the profession of teaching stronger or weaker?
Live more, complain less.
More smiles, less stress.
Less hate, more blessed.
-David Rhoads

From Blended Learning Mentor Training:
Congratulations Meagan Verfurth!
Meagan Verfurth exhibits the Power of One daily as she works with our students and staff.
She has made it a priority to build relationships with all of our students.
She is supportive of and encouraging to our students.
She works closely with children who need extra attention.
Meagan is compassionate and loving toward our children.
She is an unmoveable advocate for each child.
Meagan somehow makes time for everyone. She schedules lunch with students, invites them to her office to talk, and visits them in the classroom to check on them.
Our children know she is here for them and they can trust and depend on her.
Meagan will never give up on a child.
For all she does for our children, I would like to present the Power of One pin to Meagan.
Take a moment to read this excellent & timely article on balance!
