Community Flu Shot Clinic
Flu shot clinic is open to anyone in the community age 7 or older. You do not need to be an Amerigroup member to receive a no-cost/free flu shot. This event is drive-thru only. If you have it, please bring your insurance card and photo ID.

A groovy partnership between the Fort Worth Garden Club, Fort Worth Botanic Garden and the
Botanical Research Institute of Texas provides an opportunity for girls to interact with the
community and enjoy floral, nature-based activities. Join us for 1 or all 6 experiential workshops.

LITTLE SCHOLARS PROGRAM IMMERSES FORT WORTH ISD STUDENTS INTO MUSEUM ENVIRONMENT TO SUPPORT AND ENRICH REMOTE LEARNING CURRICULUM
Fort Worth, TX (September 23, 2020) -- The Little Scholars Program is embedded throughout the exhibition spaces of the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. The pilot program is designed to support first through fifth grade students in the Fort Worth Independent School District (FWISD) with their virtual learning needs. Teachers will provide participants with facilitation and guidance in their required FWISD lessons in safe, engaging environments within the biggest physical asset of the Museum: its spacious building. In addition to assisting with online lessons, additional science and history-based enrichment explorations and activities will be provided by the Museum's staff.

This section provides information and resources for medical care, health, and wellness in and around Fort Worth.
3rd Annual Regional Conference: Creating Community Connections
This annual Community Health Worker (CHW) focused conference typically features: networking, fellowship, and continuing education credits for CHWs and CHWIs. They work with various CHW training centers across the state to support their members and CHWs throughout North Texas.
Conference sessions will take place every Friday from Oct. 2-23rd from 12:00-2:30pm. Register for only one or ALL sessions! Scholarships available.

Double Up Food Bucks
You get a $1 for $1 match, unlimited. You can purchase $20 and get $20 in Double Bucks to use at the market for fresh fruits and veggies. The grocery store Double Up Food Bucks program launched October 2nd. Flyers with update information about the store will be available soon.
Both programs are funded through Blue Zones Project/ North Texas Healthy Communities and are set to run until 2021.

Vaccines are $30 each. MedStar can either bill the organizer or individuals can pay for the vaccines with MedStar providing documentation onsite for insurance reimbursement. Payment can be made by cash, debit/credit card or Apple Pay.

Trinity Metro Offers Free Rides for Job Seekers
Free rides will be offered on all buses, trains, ACCESS and ZIPZONE services in Tarrant County. ZIPZONE riders will need to enter a code when booking their ride.
