ID Badges: Starting in January, 11th/12th graders wishing to leave campus during lunch will be required to show their physical ID badge, rather than the Skyward badge. The purpose of this change is to expedite the traffic as students exit and ensure that only students who are supposed to be leaving are actually leaving.

Carson Tittle was selected this year and will attend an eight-week summer course at a participating university, where he will have the opportunity to earn his private pilot's certification at no cost. The scholarship is valued at $22,500. AMAZING!!
Abreham Habtegebrael has been accepted to the University of Texas at Arlington! Go Mavericks and congrats, Abreham!
The wrestling team was at the Rockwall tournament last weekend and placed 6th out of 29 teams.

Choir Christmas concert last night was fantastic!! So much hard work and it was just beautiful! We have the BEST of the BEST directing our choirs: Dr. Dame, Mrs. Dame, and Mrs. Rond. Can’t say enough about their awesomeness!
Coach Holder stopped by earlier today to ask us to say a HUGE thank you to our student section (the Raid!) last night at the BB game - y’all showed up big time to support the team. Keep it positive, keep it fun, and let’s be there Friday night for our girls’ teams!
Miss Hannah Harmon and her magic flute are moving on to the 6A AREA COMPETITION! Good luck, Hannah!
Wrestling results! The wrestling team competed against Newman Smith and McKinney North last night. The team beat Smith 42-18 and came up just short of North by 3 points. Great job guys, and good luck tomorrow at our Raider Invitational!
Our band students completed Phase 1 and 2 auditions this week for the TMEA Region 25 5A/6A Band. Attached are audition results for our Pride of the East students. We had 45 band students selected for an all-region band, and 16 students qualified for All-Area honors and advancement to the final audition for the All-State Band. In addition, we are proud to announce that Mason Stokes and Jeremy Kvale have been selected to the very exclusive and prestigious TMEA All-State Jazz Band.
Please congratulate our students for their hard work, and high achievement when you have the chance. Our band students have worked long and hard this semester to repeat as a UIL State Marching Band and to achieve the most selections ever to the All-Region, All-Area, and All-State bands.
