Olathe South High School

Principal's Corner

The Falcons were on their A Game for spirit this week! The "Anything But a Packpack" day was one of the most entertaining events I have ever seen.

Our photogs have submitted another great set of photos for you this week.

Enjoy the long week with your family. We wish everyone a restful break with safe travels!

Happy Thanksgiving!,

Falcon Notes..............

December 11 ACT

Today, November 19, is the last day to register for the December 11 ACT (late fee applies). This is the last test date that SOME colleges will accept scores from.

Free ACT Prep Class

Olathe South is offering a free ACT prep class in December. All classes will be held during advisory. Register by midnight on Friday, December 3 by using the QR code in the attachment below.

Seniors - shortened day

SENIORS that are interested in applying for a shortened day for the Spring semester can stop by the Counseling Office to pick up an application from Ms. Wasson. Completed applications must be returned to Student Services by 3:30 p.m. on December 3, to be considered.

Eligible seniors are those who are on track to graduate, don't need any credit recovery and pass all of their classes during this Fall semester. Students that do not meet these guidelines will not be approved. A shortened day is up to 2 hours off and can be late start, early release or a combination of both. Students involved in Spring activities can request late start only- not early release.

Senior Yearbook Ads

Seniors ads are now available for purchase through Touchbase. All senior ad materials must be submitted and paid in full by Tuesday, February 8, 2022. As a reminder, ads and yearbooks are sold separately. Purchasing an ad does not reserve a yearbook for you. Please see the attachment below for additional information or email journ@olatheschools.org.
