For the month of April, Summit Ridge will be highlighting what it means to be a “Communicator". As an IB school, all students are required to take a foreign language.

To promote "Communicators" learners at home, parents or guardians can hold conversations in another language or ask their student to teach them conversation starters. Parents can also .

As an IB World School, one of our core values is having students experience the Arts. Here at Summit Ridge students auditioned to be a part of Annie Jr. the Musical. On March 29th, 30th, and 31st our Arts teacher, Mrs. Brinkmann directed the musical. Over 80 students and in the end 58 students participated in the musical. It was an amazing show!

On Friday March 10, 2023 our school hosted the South Jeffco Middle School Career Fair. All 8th grade students from Summit Ridge attended the Career Fair, along with Deer Creek’s 8th grade class and students from Bradford K8. Jeffco’s Career and Technical Education office partnered with Summit Ridge to host the event. The purpose was to allow students to speak and learn from industry members. We had 29 businesses in attendance along with representatives from Warren Tech, Dakota Ridge High School, and Chatfield High School.
