Raising kids in a digital age isn't easy
Don't use technology as an emotional pacifier. Media can be very effective in keeping kids calm and quiet, but it should not be the only way they learn to calm down. Children need to be taught how to identify and handle strong emotions, come up with activities to manage boredom, or calm down through breathing, talking about ways to solve the problem, and finding other strategies for channeling emotions.
report cards and transcripts
If your child is graduating or transferring to another school, transcripts will be sent to the new school beginning June 7th. Please be sure we have a signed withdrawal form in the office with the name of the new school.
volunteers next year
As you begin to consider how you will fulfill this expectation as a parent at SJCS, there are many ways that you can get involved. We are currently looking for parents to serve in various positions including: room parents, PTO board, chairpeople of events and activities, etc. If you would like to serve in any of these capacities, please email Mrs. Haas at thaas@stjosephwhschool.org.
