ELA Learning Targets

Students will:

  • describe and compare characters.
  • retell the beginning, middle, and end of a story.

Students are successful when they can:

  • describe character feelings.

  • retell the beginning. middle, and end of a given story or movie.


Writing Learning Targets

Students will:

Choose their favorite form of writing.

Create their favorite form of writing.

Students are successful when they can:

  • tell what their favorite writing is.
  • create a piece of writing (How to, All about, fairy tale, letter, fable, personal narrative, or opinion).


Math Learning Targets

Students will:

  • Use mental math to add 10.

Success Criteria:

  • Add 10 to a number and write the sum.
  • Explain what changes when you add 10 to a number.

By Friday.....Homework Due

Students will review homework on their own.


ELA

  • practice your sight words
  • read for 20 minutes each day
  • add books to your reading log
Math
  • review counting to 120
  • review adding 10 to any number
