The Lost Boy
By Dave Pelzer
Dave Pelzer and his story
Dave Pelzer, an eight year old boy, had gotten beaten by his own mother. He struggled for days on end, not knowing if he was going to get beaten or escape "the home". He went days without food, sleeping in the garage, and getting beat. Ms. Gold, his social worker had helped him, she had got him into foster care and made him feel like a child. He had moved from the temporary house into Mrs. And Mr. Catanze house. This house had a couple other foster children. David finally felt like a child again. David had felt like he got treated that way because he deserves it.
