Late Arrival
The Kindergarten day is as follows: AM Kindergarten runs from 10:00-NOON. PM Kindergarten runs from 1:30-3:30pm.
Lunch still takes place during 11:30-12:25.
Bus transportation will also still be provided, with the bus running 90 minutes later than usual. (For example, if the usual pick-up time is 8:07am, the Late Arrival time will be 9:37am.) Again, please understand that times are still within a window, and not exact.
Veterans Day at Forest Hills
- Student Council is sponsoring a Veterans pencil sale, with proceeds going to an organization called Naperville Responds for Veterans.
- Students will also have the opportunity to contribute a picture to our Student Council "Wall of Heroes" bulletin board.
- During morning announcements, we will share some information about the history and significance of Veterans Day.
- Each classroom teacher will share a picture book read-a-loud to reinforce the importance of this special day.
- Forest Hills will display a Veterans Day "Card My Yard" in front of the school, as a thank you to our Vets.
While we look forward to the day we can resume our District-wide celebration, we hope this is a good alternative to honor these special heroes.
