Graduation Parade Route
We will celebrate and honor our 5th graders with a parade. The parade for Track 2-4 will occur on June 11 and times are staggered (see the schedule below). The parade may pass your house. Feel free to wave to the 5th grade students and families if the route passes your home. For the best flow of traffic plan to enter the main PUE entrance by turning RIGHT off of Mt. Vernon Church Rd. When leaving, please plan to turn RIGHT onto Mt. Vernon Church Rd. Left turns will slow our flow, so please alter your route to make right turns in and out of the school!
The PUE 5th grade families are welcome to participate and decorate their car and/or display celebratory signs for their graduate. You may roll your windows down to cheer. Please remain in your vehicles during the parade. In compliance with North Carolina's Phase 2 Guidelines, we will have Pleasant Union staff members cheering and waving to cars as they pass through the carpool loop. Our staff will follow social distancing guidelines and will adhere to state guidelines regarding outdoor gatherings.
