. . . . . . . . DE Streaming Tip of the Week . . . . . . . . Quick List
Both teacher and students have an awesome little tool in DiscoveryEd called the QuickList to help you keep track of all of that cool stuff that you want to come back and watch, listen to, read, and explore. Just click the + wherever you find it and Discovery will add your selection to your QuickList for you. To open your QuickList, click the tiny little LIST icon at the upper-right corner of the site and your list will open at the left. Note: If you've used the QuickList in the past, you'll notice that the QuickList recently moved from the bottom of the page to the upper-right... Same great tool, just tucked neatly out of the way to make more room for Discovery awesomeness!!
SOS - PechaKucha
This week's featured SOS is PECHA KUCHA...
The PechaKucha strategy requires students to analyze and summarize content relating to a topic, choose 20 images to represent that topic, then organize them into a presentation and then present them to an audience with exactly 20 seconds to talk about each one. What a fun and creative way to have students teach their peers about something they did on their Spring Break vacation in a relevant, thought-provoking way!
