Moving Sale...FREE ITEMS!!

Stop by the school today (Tuesday) through Friday of this week between 9 am and 3 pm and scour through the building for free items. We need to vacate the building in the next couple of weeks so everything HAS TO GO. Unfortunately, once the school leaves at the end of June, we cannot be sure that our items will be safe being stored in the building. There have been break-ins and vandalizing of our property in the last couple of weeks and that is likely to get worse when we are not a presence around the campus. That means that we will be getting rid of all furniture that we did not need to take to Fife. So, if you need bookshelves, adult desks, chairs for kids or adults, Christmas items, things on the stage (not related to the church), or any of our many "finds" in the 4th floor mezzanine, it is yours for free! We are still moving some last items to Fife at the same time, so school staff will be present to help you know what is up for grabs. Please bring a mask, in case there are multiple people in one area and social distancing is not possible for brief periods. You can park in the back parking lot and items will be moved out the back double doors. Happy hunting!! By the way, Friday is the last day for you to claim any lost and founds items. After that, they will be donated.

***Also, if you have time to stop by for a few volunteer hours, we could use moving help on Wednesday (tomorrow) and Thursday as we bring the last items to Fife. This will be between 9am and 3 pm***

The Cutest Thing EVER!!

Mr. Wolfert has compiled the music clips from the kids and made this awesome video. Check it out. He wrote Debajo La Misma Luna just for us!!

Also, see below for a message from him!

To All the Families and Staff of HRBA:

I've loved being the music instructor at this school and I'm grateful for all the support you've given me and the kids on our musical adventures over the past three years. The school won't have music class next year, but if you'd like your kids to continue to have a musical education, then I'd love to have them join my private piano studio! Many HRBA families are already a part of it and I'd be thrilled to have more join us. Get more information at [], or email me at []. Enjoy the video of grades K-2 performing the song I've written for them, and thanks so much for everything!

Change for Extended Care for 2020-21

For those in the younger extended care, Ms. Hazel is bidding the school adieu. She is moving on to new opportunities and we wish her well in the future and thank her for her incredible service to the school community. We are blessed to have Ms. Cristina Rojas (Spanish asst for last year in grades 1 and 2) take on this position. So, the kids in Pre-k and K will be able to continue their Spanish practice after school in extended care. This includes homework help!! YAY!!
