STAR Students Show Resilience - We can bounce back!

Times are tough right now! There's no sugar coating the amount of struggle many families and students are experiencing during this time of rapid change and uncertainty. One of the things we can do to thrive in this time is to develop resilience in ourselves and our children. As we work at school to tend to the academic and social/emotional needs of our students, we encourage YOU, our parents and caregivers, to take some time for yourselves to do the same.

Here is a video with Self-Care strategies for parents (3:21 min).

Practicing self-care strategies alongside your students is well worth some family time. Mindfulness is an evidence-based strategy for building resilience, and we invite you to enjoy our Calm Classroom strategies with your children. Click the links below to be lead through some of our Calm Classroom experiences.
