Congratulations Roger!

Congratulations to Roger for his participation in the NAfME All-National Orchestra this past weekend!

Roger performed with the orchestra on Sunday in Washington D.C. along with 7 other horn players from across the US.

Craft Show - THANK YOU!

Thank you to Ms. Burwell, the Delgados & everyone who helped to make the craft show a success. Whether it be volunteering time, donating goods, spreading the word, or attending the event - thank you!!

Event/ General Information

IMA Meeting - This Tuesday

Stop by the EAHS cafeteria this Tuesday @ 7:00 PM. The meeting should last approximately 30 minutes. Current/ upcoming fundraisers, Turkey week traditions, and more will be discussed.

Thanksgiving Week Information (Marching Band)

Below is the schedule for our marching band students the week of Thanksgiving.


Monday, November 21:

  • Elementary Pep Rallies (full band) - during school day
  • Powderpuff Game (full band) - report to EAHS @ 4:45 PM


Tuesday, November 22:

  • Easton/ P'Burg Band Dance (full band) - report to EAHS @ 5:15 PM


Wednesday, November 23:

  • EAHS Pep Rally (all instrumental) - during school day
  • Bonfire Parade (full band) - report to EAHS @ 4:30 PM


Thursday, November 24:

  • Easton v. Phillipsburg Game (full band) - report to EAHS @ 8:00 AM



The only event that students will uniforms for is the game on Thursday.

Marching Band Senior Families - Yard Signs

Every marching band senior will receive a yard sign to be placed outside their house the week of Thanksgiving. This yard sign is customized for each student and has been a big hit in past years. Students completed a Google Form last week with the necessary information.


In addition, students will have the option to have their car decorated & have breakfast together on Wednesday, November 23 after sleeping out for the bonfire.

Philadelphia Holiday Parade Information

The Philadelphia Holiday Parade will take place on Saturday, December 03.

PARADE START TIME: 5:00 PM

Marching Band Uniform Care Reminders

Please see below for helpful reminders regarding care for the marching band uniforms:



  • Sweat collars should be removed from the jacket and washed with mild detergent on gentle cycle (or hand washed). Hang to dry.
  • When the jacket is hanging at home, remove it from the garment bag. Keep the jacket on the hanger it was distributed on and let hang outside of garment bag.

PMEA D10 Audition Information

PMEA D10 Band & Orchestra auditions will take place on Saturday, December 03 @ Parkland HS.


For students auditioning, please read this important information below:



  1. You must arrange your own transportation to & from Parkland HS that day. School transportation is not provided. Our audition time is usually early in the morning, so it will not conflict with the parade later on that afternoon.
  2. You must have an original copy of the music. Be sure to check you have the correct edition.
  3. Read through all requirements regarding what movements to be preparing, scales, octaves, rhythms specified, etc.
  4. ** ALL STUDENTS AUDITIONING MUST schedule a time to be heard prior to auditions on 12/03. We can treat this like a mock audition to help prepare you for auditions.

FUNDRAISING

Last Week for IMA Citrus Sale!

The very last day to turn in paper forms for the fruit sales will be Wednesday November 16th. Please turn into the lockbox. The online sale site is still open and will now close on Sunday, November 20th! We’re so close to hitting out fundraising goal! Let’s keep those sales going for one more week!

FINAL REMINDER - WREATH SALE

The final day to turn in orders for our annual wreath & poinsettia sale is Monday! All orders must be turned into the lockbox by the end of the day.


Items will be ready for pick up on Saturday, December 10!

Easton Area High School Instrumental Music

The Easton Area High School (EAHS) Instrumental Music Program has a long history of success. The program consists of nearly 380 students in grades 9 – 12 and encompasses marching band, three concert bands, three orchestras, two jazz ensembles, pep band, and pit orchestra.
