PRESIDENT WAS KILLED
President Lincoln was shot in the back of the head at Fords Theater. The president was moved to Peterson's house. It was was confirmed that the president was going to die. He could not recover. They found out that John Wilkes Booth assassinated Lincoln. They found clues and people that helped Booth. They trapped John Wilkes Booth in the barn and shot him. He later died outside the barn.
John Wilkes Booth's plan
In planning his escape, John Wilkes Booth made mistakes. When John Wilkes Booth shot the president he jumped out the president box and broke his leg. Booth was almost caught by a confederate soldier but he ran off on his horse. later during the escape Booth and Herod went the wrong way on the river. Booth was panicking and the garrets were suspicious of Booth.
