I was once required to write a full lesson plan for Skyping with Authors. Here it is, including all of the procedures before and after the Skype session. You can easily make it match your standards!

Bitly.com - URL Shortener
Like TinyURL.com, Bitly.com will shorten long URLs and allow you to customize the address. Unlike TinyURL, you can create a FREE Bitly account and SAVE all of your bitlinks. You can then access them at any time and don't have to remember each one independently.
