Thank YOU Tiger Parents!

We just wanted to share a brief note of appreciation for all of your patience and understanding with our rainy dismissal on Thursday. Thank you for helping us get all of our Tigers home safely!

Start with Hello

This week is national Start with Hello week. Start with Hello is an initiative from the Sandy Hook Promise organization to bring awareness to social isolation and our ability to make a difference in someone else's life. At THS, we have adopted this as our Hello2Kindness week. We will have advisory lessons introducing Start with Hello and the ripple effects of kindness. Our student and staffulty groups will be challenging each other to take on Random Acts of Kindness throughout the week and we challenge you to do the same!

Click on the brochure below for more information on Start with Hello!

Parent Needs Assessment Survey from THS Counseling Department

Please click the link below to activate our 2019-2020 Counseling Needs Assessment. Based on the results of the survey, our Counseling Department will provide follow up informational sessions throughout the year that will enhance academic, social/emotional and career development for the families of the students we serve. The survey will be active until September 25, 2019. Once closed, the results will be used to determine how our School Counseling program can help support student achievement.

Parents- PLEASE do not drop your student off in the student parking lot before school. This creates a big safety risk for all of our Tigers. Thank YOU!

Parent Resource Corner

Vaping is often being referred to as an epidemic among teens. Our Tigers are no different than any other teens and many of them experiment with the various forms of vapes or e-cigarettes. We will be addressing the risks at school over the course of the year, but we encourage all parents to also educate themselves and have open discussions with your students regarding the dangers of vaping.

See below for a video for parents to guide their discussion with their teens about vaping.
