Granville Academy K-5 & 6-8 Family Support/Outreach Groups
K-5 & 6-8 Granville Academy families:
There are two Facebook groups that are set up for GA Pirates and families in grades K-5 & 6-8 (as parents and students) to come together and get to know each other better. The idea behind the pages is to have somewhere to go for support (help with assignments that may be confusing) or to plan a fun outing with the group ("Hey, anyone want to go to the park and have lunch this Friday?").
Please note the pages are set up to protect the privacy of students & families. Only GA Pirates are allowed to join. Please search for the groups on Facebook!
We are looking forward to getting to know our GA Pirates!

Message from Mrs. Glass
The second semester is fast approaching! If you have any candidates for High school credit courses, please reach out to Mrs. Annette Glass (glassap@gcs.k12.nc.us) for more information.
Granville Online offers Earth Science, English 1, Spanish and World History for students that may wish to start with HS credit courses while in Middle School!
We also offer Creative Writing for MS students as a MS elective credit with Mrs. Barbara Poole!
Please make all of the requests using this form and ideally all requests should be made before the holiday break in December.
Thank you!
Weekly Message from the MS Teachers:
There is no new checklist of work for this week. Students who are behind should take advantage of this and try to get caught up on some of their work. Students are also welcome to work ahead if they choose to.
There will be tutoring after school today until 3pm.
There is Science Olympiad practice tomorrow (11/25) until 2:30pm. A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who came out to the Science Olympiad fundraiser last week!
Science Olympiad will be hosting another fundraiser December 9-15th selling popcorn. Be on the lookout for more updates soon!
