“Practice as if you are the worst; perform as if you are the best”
Director and Head Coach
Rachel has been within the cheerleading industry for 9 years as an athlete, coach, and as a Director of Adelaide All Star Cheerleading. Holding aBachelor of Education and her extensive experience in working with children and teenagers has proven to be a great asset to AASC.
Rachel also brings with her a strong knowledge of artistic gymnastics and dance, and a keen interest in fitness and health.
Favourite thing about cheerleading: There aren’t many sports that require such a high level of team work. I enjoy watching children come in to the gym, feel a sense of belonging, and form friendships with their team mates that will last a lifetime.

Senior Dance Coach
Angela is a high school teacher by day and coaches the Adelaide All Star elite dance program by night. She brings with her years of experience in performing and coaching cheerleading, tap, jazz, ballet and hip hop. Angela has been competing with the Adelaide All Stars for 4 years and is currently an athlete in the elite dance and cheer squads.
The most valuable quality for an athlete: A positive attitude, because with this you can achieve almost anything.
Jasmine Golding
“Take a passion and MAKE it happen”
Senior Dance Coach
Jasmine is currently coaching our beginner dance program as well as competing in our top dance and cheer teams. Jas has extensive knowledge and experience in jazz, musical theatre, ballet and contemporary and is involved in the Adelaide All Stars expanding their dance image and repertoire.

Adelaide Hills All Stars is Sophie’s first coaching role at AASC, however she is a trained dancer and dance teacher. Sophie is also completing her final year of Nursing at University.
Favourite thing about cheerleading: Cheerleading is a great workout. A good balance of being both really fun and challenging.

“All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them”
Cheerleading Coach
Ella has been with the Adelaide All Stars since 2010 and is representing Adelaide All Stars in both the elite cheer and dance squads in 2013. She is currently coaching our beginner dance squads as well as a teen group stunt competing at nationals!
Favourite thing about cheerleading: The environment, all teams are like a family and are so supportive of everyone. Also just being able to perform and the experience of the crowd going wild whilst hitting your routine!
Jess Lane
“Leadership is about creating more leaders, not followers”
Director and Head Coach
Jess has been dancing for over 20 years and is trained in modern contemporary and calisthenics. She began dancing as a sideline cheerleader prior to being introduced to competitive cheerleading in 2005.
Completing a Bachelor of Marketing and working in the industry provided Jess with a sound knowledge of the South Australian market. This eventuated in creating a dream career within the cheerleading industry!
Favourite thing about cheerleading: Cheerleading is an extremely diverse sport, you are valuable as an athlete regardless of your sporting background, ability, size or shape.
Emma Waterham
“Whether you think you can or you can’t, either way you are right”
Cheerleading Coach
Emma has been competing with the Adelaide All Stars for 4 years and is representing Adelaide All Stars in the elite squad in 2013. She has been coaching at the gym since 2010 and is taking on two squads this year – including a senior role at the Adelaide Hills All Stars! Emma also brings with her 4.5 years of freestyle martial arts training and instructing, and is currently studying year 11.
Favourite thing about cheerleading: Stunting, it never fails to leave me in awe. It requires a very unique and intense set of skills, determination and level of team work that I absolutely love and have never experienced in any other sport.
Tamsyn Voyzey
“The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack in will.”
Cheerleading Coach
Tamsyn is a qualified high school teacher and Adelaide All Stars are lucky enough to have her as a senior staff member. Tamsyn has been around the gym from the very beginning as a coach as well as a competitor, and brings with her years of dance performance and coaching experience.
My favourite thing about cheerleading is seeing the athletes working together as a team.
Most important attribute in a cheerleader is determination.
