October 14th - Be Flexible
We'll discuss this more at Collaboration, but as a reminder this Wednesday we will only be testing the PSAT 10th & 11th graders. Freshmen & seniors will stay in their AL and/or "Homerooms" until 11:27. THERE WILL BE NO NWEA TESTING ON THIS DAY. We are working on securing two seperate presentations from Noble County EDC during that time...one geared towards the 9th graders and the other targeting the seniors. Once that gets solidified, we'll pass along those details.
This will also be the day we target our bully presentation. We'll use a similar format to what we did last year...videos, class discussions, and sign off sheets in order to get the information to students and comply with the legal statues.
It will be an unusual day to say the least. As you design your Canvas assignments for that day, keep in mind, half the student population will be undergoing 3+ hours of testing.
In the event of a Fog Delay, we will be rescheduling the PSAT and will operate on a "regular" delayed bell schedule...we will proceed with the bullying presentation during AL.
JA Fall Bowl-A-Thon Fundraiser
Junior Achievement is a non-profit volunteer organization that brings work readiness skills and information to students with the purpose of inspiring the entrepreneurial spirit in the next generation. ENSC has a great working relationship, and volunteers come into our classrooms on a regular basis.
JA needs our help. In an effort to raise funds for their local chapter, they will be hosting a Bowl-A-Thon on November 7th. The goal is to raise $375 per team. If you or your club would like to raise a team to represent ENHS, let me know and I'll give you more details. We will be conducting a building wide staff Jeans Day dedicated to JA. The first group to organize a team of five will get the proceeds of that Jeans Day to get you closer to your fundraising goal.
