JAGUAR UPDATE Turkey Edition
Sunset Valley Elementary 11/17/17
Jaguar Corner
Hello Jaguars!
-Grandparents and Special Friends Day is on November 30! Please see attached for more information!
-We continue to look at student data to help inform our instruction. SVE Staff and students excel in the areas of district emphasis: IStation, TenMarks, DreamBox, Gizmo, Mystery Science, Project Lead the Way and Schoology, and continue to work extremely hard in all other content areas. The areas of emphasis, which complement our instruction, provide a high degree of rigor for our students and challenge them to think and problem solve. We continue to have high expectations for our kids and they consistently respond!! Thank you for your support at home!
-Please check out the Kindergarten and 3rd grade buddies recipes on how to cook a Thanksgiving Turkey!!!
-At this time of year, I am thankful for so much:
Health, my wife and kids, my mom, dad and sister and her family, Sunset Valley Staff and Students, a wonderful community, SVE PTA, Kansas City Royals, sunshine, and a smile.
-Over the next week, here is your parent homework: Take a moment to let your child know how you are thankful for them. I am thankful for you because _____________.
-There will not be a Jaguar Update next week due to the Turkey Break.
CONGRATULATIONS!
