New & Important Information for this Week
Halfway Point for Marking Period 3 is Here 3/2!
All MCHS Parents:
- Review your leaner's course progress in Home Access
- Students can check-in with teachers as needed. Encourage them to utilize Wednesday Office Hours. Office hours for each teacher are posted on their Schoology page.
Attention MCHS Online Learners:
- Online learners taking courses through Schoology – The midway point for the 3rd marking period has been extended to March 2, 2021 due to snow days during the week of Feb 15th. Please continue to complete work as established by your online course facilitator.
- Online learners taking courses through 3rd party providers (Apex, Accelerate, Edison)- The window to complete Part 1 of these Online Courses has been extended through Tuesday, March 2nd at 11:59pm due to snow days during the week of February 15th. Please connect with your online course facilitator(s) if you have any questions regarding due dates.

Health-e Student Connect
LG Health has developed a program that enables health care providers and the school nurse to share information that is relevant to your child’s well-being and care in school. Please look for a letter and consent form that is being sent home with your high school child on Monday, March 1. After reviewing the details, if you have any questions, please contact the school nurse’s office at 717-664-8422. This is an optional program.
Don't forget to Sign-up for Upcoming Graduation Pathway Opportunities
Beginning with the graduating class of 2023, students must meet statewide graduation requirements by meeting one of five Graduation Pathways. One option is completing the Alternate Assessment Pathway.
MCHS is offering the following assessments which you can take to meet your Graduation Pathway instead of passing all three Keystone Exams.
Pathway #4 - Alternate Assessment Pathway:
- ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery exam): OFFERED AT MCHS ON Thursday, 3/11/2021 from 8:30am - 11:30am
- SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test): OFFERED AT MCHS ON Wednesday, 3/24/2021 from 8am - Noon
- PSAT: OFFERED AT MCHS ON Wednesday, 4/21/2021 from 8am - Noon
Sign-Up in the Guidance Office
- ASVAB: No Cost to MCHS Students
- PSAT: $5.00 for MCHS Students
- SAT: $52.00 for MCHS Students
Checks can be made payable to MCHS. Please write the assessment being taken on the Memo Line.
