A Message from the Principal
Hello Wildcat Families,
In the month of May, our students are learning a LOT about respect. Being respectful helps us to treat others in a way that makes them feel cared for and important. This is an important trait for children to learn as it helps our whole community feel much more positive towards each other
Take a moment to check out this 5-minute video about respect and feel free to discuss as a family some times when you have felt respected: https://youtu.be/GOzrAK4gOSo
Also, if you have another moment, the Google Form below is a quick way to share a shout-out about a Weiss staff member. A single sentence or two can really make a great impact. https://forms.gle/Rx4AvhThzRxZHc3r6
Kind Regards,
Mr. Bezeau
The PTO Needs You
Did you know that the Weiss PTO works hard to support our students, families, and staff members all throughout the school year? This 100% volunteer-run charitable organization provides our students and families with access to resources, materials, and community events. With the help of the PTO, we are able to stock classroom and media center libraries with student requested books, receive classroom supplies for our students, take field trips, have assemblies, have authors visit the school, update our outdoor spaces, and focus on equitable access to daily resources and community events for all students in our school.
In order to continue to serve the needs of a STEM school, the Weiss PTO needs your help. They need volunteers willing to give the gift of their time, a few minutes a day/week/or month. The PTO accepts all volunteers and has a number of open positions with various time commitments. They will help guide you to a role that fits your work schedule and lifestyle.
As we look ahead to next year, we want to resume the traditional events and services the PTO typically provides. However, this can only happen if you donate your time. This gift is greatly appreciated! Please complete our Volunteer Sign Up form:
