Parents are invited to attend our first monthly coffee event tomorrow, Wednesday September 28. We will meet from 9-10am in the Greeley lunch room/multipurpose room. Each month will feature a very specific topic to inform parents of work being done in the schools regarding social-emotional learning and how this work can also be used in the home. This month's topic centers on our District's new RULER approach as well as Charters. We hope to see you there!

Reminder: The Greeley Food Pantry Drive Monday Sept. 19th – Friday Sept. 30th

With the Greeley PTO, we are partnering with the New Trier Food Pantry to collect the most requested packaged foods and household supplies that directly supports families in need right here in our community.

The Service & Outreach committee has made this short video about the New Trier Food Pantry and how we can help. Each grade has been assigned specific items to bring. Donations will be collected until this FRIDAY, September 30th. BONUS: If the school reaches its collective goal, all students will earn a prize!

Today’s Presentation

Students and staff gathered together for a morning assembly at all five schools today. The presentation included information about seeing something and saying something, being an up-stander and what steps to take if you are in an unsafe situation. While this was a natural opportunity for us to review these things with our students, we made it clear that there are situations in which the safest way to be an up-stander means calling for help–whether that is dialing 911 or getting an adult. We also wanted to recognize that there are going to be instances that if unreported, could escalate into something worse, and want our students to know who they can go to in their school for help.

Today’s presentation slides are linked below.
