District Visioning Process is Moving Forward
At their regular board meeting on February 28th, the JCSD board approved a District process to develop district belief and values, a vision and mission statement, goals and performance indicators. This 3-year plan will be the umbrella under which all district efforts operate. The district currently follows their Consolidated Improvement Plan (CIP), their Student Investment Act (SIA) and their High School Success Plan. This comprehensive visioning process will bring all plans together and provide district leadership with a focus on student growth and success that is developed through a collaboration of all school and community stakeholders. The process began in April and is expected to be complete by December 2022. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey below. We need your feedback as we begin identifying the Beliefs and Values of the Junction City community. You can also assist in this process by sharing this link with other businesses, organizations or families in the Junction City area. We will be collecting feedback until May 20th.

District Health Information
The CDC recommendation is to: Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines, and Get tested if you have symptoms.
This is great news and we progress to a mask optional environment on Monday, March 14th. Please remember it is still vital to keep your student home when they are sick and to let your school know when there is a COVID illness in your household. Each school has on site COVID testing and at home tests available.
Here is a link to a Community Health Bulletin about the impact that drugs containing fentanyl, has on our communities.
