The Eagle's Nest
Week of April 18, 2022
Happy Sunday Families!
We hope everyone has had a restful and enjoyable Spring Break. We look forward to seeing students back in school on Tuesday, April 19, as we gear up to finish the school year strong! We have a great week ahead. Students in grades 1, 4, 5 will participate in a reverse field trip with Marine CSI on Tuesday, and second grade and students in Ms. Medina's class will travel to Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium on Wednesday. On Friday at 5 p.m., families will get an opportunity to take a glimpse of our Spanish Immersion program. There will be food samples and performances by our DLI students. Finally, on Saturday, fourth-grader Simon Caro will represent Clyde Erwin at the Onslow County Schools Chess Tournament.
Important Reminders:
1. Monday, April 18 is a Teacher Workday and there is no school for students. Students will return to school on Tuesday, April 19.
2. Kindergarten and First grade students will have Field Day on Friday, April 22.
3. The Apex Fun Run Fundraiser is coming May 2-12. Look out for more information soon!
