Transfiguration Band Announcements

Congratulations to the Beginning Band and Black & Gold Band for completing their 1st annual Band Olympics! The Band Olympics separated players into teams and featured different musical events for friendly competition. The students did a great job and had a lot of fun along the way. The winning team was Team Endor followed by Team Hoth and Tatooine. The top winners in Black and Gold Band were Molly M. (1st), Matthew G. (2nd), and Alice T. (3rd).

The top winners in Beginning Band were Sophia B. (1st), Lexi J. (2nd), and Isa B. (3rd).

Thank you all for the hard work!

Do you know someone interested in band? The band program teaches piano, woodwinds, brass, strings, electric bass, and percussion. With amazing guest speakers and awesome field trips being planned for later in the school year there is fun and great memories to be made. Why not try out one of the band workshops being held this summer to introduce players to band? Workshops will be online while private lessons have the option of being online or in person. Please contact Mr. McGuire at mmcguire@transfigurationmn.org for more information.
