The loire river witch is the longest river in france at 629 miles long.And the Garonne in the South West


The climate in France is mild usally in between 38F 66F.

But thus changes often due to rain and clouds from the Atlantic


About 10.5 milliion people of France live in Paris

One of the reasons could be because the Eiffel Tower

Second the food is amazing. And the Louvre Pyramid

It is also the Capital of France

They don't have the same rights as USA.

I wouldn't consider my contry rich compared to the USA

Social and Ethnic Groups

Ethnic groups are communities or populations made up of people who have similar backrounds and culture. Kindergarten or preschool. Ecoles Maternelles takes people frome ages 2 to 6 and prepare them for entry into primary school. And then on. The Literacy rate in my country is 99%. So most of the people in my country can read and write like regular people in the USA. We have more than one Ethnic group in France. Celtic and Latin with Tuetonic, Slavic, North African, Indochinese, Basque Minorities are Ethnic groups in France. Celtic has the majority of the population. There have been conflicts between ethnicgroups over jobs, leagal discrimanation, and accses to positions in the public bureaucracy.

Religon Launguage and Country Flag

Religons- Roman Catholic, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, other. The Roman Catholic is the most dominant. French is the language spoken the most 100% out of the other languages. Frances flag colors are Red White and Blue like the USA. The blue and red are associated with the Virgin Mary. They may also represent the three main estates of acient Regime.

The flag was created in 1789 A.D.

Traditional Holidays or Festivals, Traditional Clothing, and Food

The French observe 11 official public holidays. 5 of them are civil holidays New Year's Day,May Day, Victory in Europe Day, Bastille Dayand WWI Armistice Day and 6 have a religious origin based on the Catholic faith Easter Monday, Ascension Day, Whit Monday, Assumption Day, All Saints' Day, andChristmas. I decided to pick White Monday to explain. It is a public holiday the day after Pentacost Sunday. It is a christian holy day that celebrates the coming of the Holy Spirit onto the twelve apostles and other christians, 50 days after Jesus died on the cross in the first century AD. People in France wear normal stuff like we do in the US. Soupe a L'oignon. This is a traditional French soup made of onions and beef stock, usually served with croutons and cheese on top. Its origins can be traced back to Roman times. However, its current version originated in the 18th century. The remarkable taste of the soup is due to the caramelisation of the onions.
