Grades 1 and 2
ALL DATA MUST BE UPLOADED INTO DATA LINK. The Data Link Grade 1 Interim 2 test code is 55541 and the Grade 2 Interim 2 test code is 55544. Please be sure to download and read the Interim 2 guidelines for this assessment in the “associated resources” tab and the teacher instructions in the “test actions” tab in Data Link. Testing is extended until today and all scoring must be inputted by Friday.
Algebra I
All MOY for the course are found in Agile Assessment in Agile Mind. It is highly recommended that students take the exam on the computer through Agile Assessment. Minimally, student data needs to be inputted so it can be included on the ILT tool. The last day for administering the algebra 1 midterm is today.

Literacy News
Due to the 2 hour delay on Thursday, January 21st and the snow day on Friday, January 22nd , the Reading 3D MOY assessment window has been extended through Tuesday, February 2, 2016. This information was included in the Leadership Action Update last Thursday, January 28th.
Please encourage teachers to complete all Reading 3D assessments by COB 2.2.16. In the event students are not assessed by 2.2.16 due to absence, teachers should still assess students in order to acquire up-to-date data for the purpose of adjusting instruction. Although students assessed after 2.2.16 will not be included in MOY completion rates, their data is instructionally significant.
As a reminder, the week following the close of the Reading 3D assessment window should be devoted to data analysis and regrouping of students prior to implementing the progress monitoring cycles.

AU Course for Special Educators
I would like to encourage CLN-4 Special Educators to consider enrollment in this course. This course earns 1 AU and covers teaching literacy to multiple grade levels for both resource and self-contained teachers. The course offers valuable instructional support for grade level curriculum, interventions, and instructional strategies for SWD that are best provided in a PD setting.
The start date for the Lit. AU Course for Special Educators is February 2 (East) & February 4 (West). Registration via PGS has been extended to Friday, February 5.
Co-Teaching Strategies
Use the QR code below to access the TeachHub.com site on effective co-teaching strategies or just click on the co-teaching strategy link.
Use this website to create texts that are accessible to your students based on their reading scores. There are app downloads available for smartphones. Go to the website for further information.
Technology
QR Codes
Increase technology in classroom by incorporating QR Codes on assignments. Copy/paste an URL code for a particular website (intervention, pdf, etc.), download its corresponding QR code and paste it onto another website or document. Students can then access this information by using the QR reader app on smart phones.
