We are so excited that our campus Chromebooks have arrived! On Friday, we distributed Chromebook Agreement forms to all scholars to bring home for parents/guardians to read, sign, and return to campus. These forms are required before we will distribute a Chromebook to students. Forms must be returned to Advisory teachers. Students will begin receiving Chromebooks on Monday. We hope to have all Chromebooks distributed by Friday, August 26.

ARRIVAL

Parents, you have been doing a great job following our drop-off procedures. Please make sure that your child arrives by 8:00 a.m. daily. Doors will open at 8:15 a.m.

• 6th GRADE ENTRYWAY is located at the Sundial located on Prairie Creek Drive right as drive into the campus.
• 7th GRADE ENTRYWAY is located at the patio facing Military Parkway (facing the campus, to the left).
• 8th GRADE ENTRYWAY is located at the main entrance of the campus facing Prairie Creek.

Please make sure of the following:

1. Your child is wearing their school uniform. Khaki pants with a belt and polo shirt- 6th grade (white polo; 7th grade- navy blue polo; 8th grade- red polo).

2. Your child has a clear/mesh backpack to hold their supplies.

As your child heads to school, leave them with a positive thought or phrase, so they can start the day strong!

DISMISSAL

3:50- 1st floor classes (mostly 6th grade)

3:54- 2nd floor classes (mostly 7th grade)

3:58- 3rd floor classes (all 8th grade)

Please remember to drive slowly out of the campus, and follow the direction of the staff members directing traffic.

All scholars are expected to cross the street at the light! Parents, please do not encourage your children to run across the street through traffic to get in your car. This is for their safety. We will help guide them to the traffic signal to cross. It will take an extra minute or so, but safety is always FIRST! Thank you for your help with this expectation. Let's work together for their safety.

Additionally, if you would like to donate any gifts to our teachers and staff, please drop all items off at the main office.

This past week, our scholars took their ID pictures. We are awaiting more lanyards to arrive on Monday, then we will enforce scholars to have them displayed and worn around their neck.

Thank you for making sure your scholars are wearing their correct grade-level shirt. Please also be sure that they are daily wearing a belt and are only wear their black blazers or cardigans in the hallway.
