Parents of After School Club Students

Parents of After School Club Students,

I hope I can clarify some confusion. The After School Club has always been generously supported by the United Way along with a minimal charge to parents. We have been able to run the program with plenty of funds available. This year those funds have been cut drastically.

If your child attends the After School Club for any amount of time, you will be charged the $5.00 daily rate. There are some people that have asked for scholarships for the program, so this does not apply to those that have been approved. If you are in need of a scholarship, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thanks,

Mrs. Burke

CHILDREN'S FESTIVAL OF THE BOOK

Santa Run for Education

We are excited for the 5th Annual Santa Run For Education! This year we are hoping to raise money for ALL schools in the Gallatin Valley, but we need your help spreading the word! New this year — when a runner signs up, they choose the school they want to represent and support. An individual fundraiser page is set up for them automatically. Fundraising is OPTIONAL, but, we are encouraging our participants to raise at least $150 — half goes to the school they choose and the other half goes to BSF. If a participant raises $100, their race fee is refunded, if they raise $150, they are entered into a raffle for a bunch of awesome prizes.

The potential is great. If just 10 people represent your school and each raise $150… that school will get $750!!! It is that easy. I signed up my son and posted the fundraiser to my facebook page and raised the money in two days.

Together we are supporting PUBLIC education in the Gallatin Valley. The Santa Run is on December 7th at 10:15. Please spread the word and give me a call if you have any questions.

Box Tops & Labels for Education Program

Welcome back to school! We will be participating in both the Labels for Education and the Box Tops for Education™ programs again this year. Send clipped labels to school with your child as you collect them and I will submit them. Sign up at BTFE.com to get coupons and stay updated on our school’s earnings. Money raised from Box Tops is used by the Parent Group to fund projects at the school and Labels earnings can be used by the teachers to get supplies for the classroom. Thanks for helping!
