Washington School:
The BOE watched a video of students entering Washington for the first time. President Desecki commented that the entire Board had just toured the new school and it is amazing.
Dr. Boryszewski thanked the BOE, for the risk that they took in building the new school. Welcoming the students for the first time was a special day for the community, and she thanked the board for their leadership. She thanked the teachers, commenting that they have been stretched beyond measure, and that the teachers and students have always risen to the occasion. Dr. Boryszewski also thanked Dr. Tiffany Leiva and Michelle Howlett for their incredible leadership. Building this school has been the highlight of Dr. Boryszewski's career.
