We are enjoying Junior Achievement!

In Junior Achievement we are learning what makes up a community along with what is our role in communities.

What have we been up too?

During science the second graders made a model of their plan to save a city from a landslide and we started to test them! For writing we have continued to work on editing our personal narratives. Researching Rules and Laws has been the focus of our reading comprehension. The phonics skill this week was ear, ir, ur, and er! During grammar we continued to work on using adjectives to describe nouns through an adjective game. In math these second graders explored explaining how they used addition strategies to solve a problem, subtraction from addition, and fact families.
