COMMUNITY LION'S ROAR!
October 2022
We would like to thank all of our families for coming out to our Back-to-School Nights.
Several schools reported they had the largest crowds ever!!!!
Thank you for coming out!!!
Check out our Elementary Honor Society Members who served
as hosts for the evening.
They did a great job!!!
Please join us virtually on October 11th from 6:00-7:00 as we provide general information to parents about Title I, Part A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). Title I is the federal program that allocates funding to local school districts to improve the academic achievement of low performing students, particularly in English Language Arts and/ or Math. The Lindenwold Public Schools operate school-wide K-12 Title I programs; therefore, all children, including your child, benefit from additional help in one or both of these areas.
At this meeting, we will talk about our Title I program in addition to the following items:
- The assessments we use and what they mean
- How we help your child meet state proficiency goals
- Activities that you can do at home to help your child succeed
- How you can be involved in the Title I program at school
- District and School-Level Parental Involvement Policies
- School-Parent Compact

POSTED ON OUR MAIN WEBPAGE UNDER ANNOUNCEMENTS
Our students and staff are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month throughout our schools.
Hispanic Heritage Month runs from September 15th - October15th.
The District will once again hold our annual Hispanic Heritage Community Event later this fall / early winter.
Stay tuned for more information!
We are all servant leaders. We serve our community, our students, and one another.
How are we doing?
If you would like to share feedback with us, you can fill out our Lion's Satisfaction Survey.
This survey is posted under our District Announcements on the main page of our website.
The survey is also posted under the PARENT TAB, too, on our website.
However, we request parents schedule an appointment if they wish to meet with an administrator or teacher in person.
Why?
1. Administrators and teachers have many job responsibilities during the school day. They may be needed to supervise students at the time you arrive, and they may be unable to meet with you at that time.
2. Administration and teachers may have appointments with other families at the time you wish to meet with them.
3. Administrators may be covering a classroom and unable to meet at the time you arrive or addressing immediate issues in school.
4. Students always come first and administrators and teachers may be working with students when you arrive. We must keep them and their immediate needs our focus at that time.
These are just some of MANY reasons why it is necessary to schedule an appointment if you wish to meet with an administrator or staff member in person. We will be happy to schedule a time as quickly as possible.
The District created a new website tab for our families. It explains the steps within the HIB process. We added a pictorial calendar and graphic to assist families with understanding the timelines involved in the HIB process.

Our students are doing a fantastic job continuing to adhere to the Lindenwold Uniform Policy. Please keep in mind this is being enforced in all schools. If you are in need of financial assistance, please contact Ms. Amber Callow,
