September Edition - twenty nineteen

Big picture

WELCOME BACK JAMM FAM

As we embark on Our 14th Season of JAMMing, I continue to be amazed at the growth of the studio, the dancers and staff. I feel so blessed to be around such amazing and talented people every week for nine months out of the year! A huge thank you goes out to all of our staff and loyal dance families for your support of the studio over the years. It is in large part because of our staff for the magic that happens in the studio walls and for all the wonderful things our dance families say about us outside of them. I am pleased to share that virtually every class we have offered this season has reached its capacity with waiting lists. Thank you again for trusting us with guiding your children on their dance journey. We accept this role with great responsibility as we strive to give the kids the best for their minds, bodies and souls. We do not take this honor for granted and we look forward to a great year!

EVERY DANCER, EVERY CLASS

As we prepare the space for the dancers to arrive next week we are so excited to once again offer you the very best dance education experience. Every dancer, in every class is important to JAMM. We are always available to discuss your dancer's progress and we look forward to connecting with each of the JAMM parents throughout the season as we help guide your amazing kids toward their goals.

QUESTIONS? HOW WE ARE DOING ?

We are here to help and we welcome questions and feedback. Our guest service staff is available during all teaching hours to assist you. We also have a staff directory below so you can reach out to the staff directly as well.

Have a wonderful year JAMM!

Fondly,

Ms. Angie

STAY IN THE KNOW

The JAMM Website is a great resource for many questions that you may have! The calendar is updated regularly and most of our important dates for the current season are already posted! Newsletters will also be uploaded to the site under the Buzz tab as well as emailed monthly.

Join us on our JAMM Facebook and Instagram pages! We use these sites to post photos of your dancers class, for reminders, special events and emergency closings.

Shoes and Attire

SHOES

Shoes can be ordered at JAMM through the front desk and take about 2 - 10 business days to arrive. If your dancer already has shoes, they can be worn for class until they outgrow them. However, all students must have the correct shoes for recital (refer to the shoe order form available at the front desk for shoe brands/styles). This helps the performance look professional with all of our dancers looking the same on stage. MAKE SURE TO LABEL ALL YOUR DANCER SHOES ON THE INSIDE OF THE SHOE.

Shoes can also be purchase at Step-N-Stretch.

DANCE ATTIRE REQUIREMENTS

A list of required apparel for class is listed in the Fall brochure (see schedule and info above).

Street clothes and street shoes are not permitted for any classes(including hip hop).

NEW! JAMM LOGO APPAREL

An online store will be available in the October Buzz! All items will be available for Christmas delivery! Lots of new JAMM swag will be available this year! New trucker hats, winter beanie, back packs, water bottles, insulated beverage cups, joggers, tanks, sweatshirts, slides and so much more! There is something for everyone and they make perfect Christmas gifts for your favorite dancer (s).

Fundraisers

At JAMM we hold optional fundraisers for all our JAMM families to help offset the cost of costumes and competition fees. The first two fundraising packets for Heggie's Pizza and Mickman Brother's Wreaths will be going home with your dancer the first week of class.

New! We are adding a Cookie Dough Fundraiser to our options this year. You will receive information about that Fundraiser in January.

We are always looking for parent volunteers to help keep these opportunities available to all who need them. Information about how to help out will be in the October Buzz.

IT'S SO HARD TO SAY GOODBYE

Ms. Lorelei resigned in June and we will miss her dearly this year. She continues to be a part of our JAMM Family. She is taking some time to go back to college and to spend time with her aging parents who live on her family farm in Wisconsin.

Ms. Tera will be relocating with her boyfriend Nick in the next few months. Nick is in the Air Force and they will be relocating to Las Vegas as soon as his training is complete. Ms. Tera will be around here and there before she moves. We will miss her so much as well. However, we are so excited for her new adventure with Nick in Las Vegas.
