In addition to class quizzing and polling, Socrative allows for individualized assessments for students based on their level of learning. The app is compatible with all mobile devices, including e-readers. Socrative also has learning networks built in for students to dig deeper into lessons with peers outside of the immediate classroom.
TouchCast is a mobile app that embeds web search tools into videos. TouchCast users can both view and create interactive videos. The app can be used to create lessons as well as assess learning via presentation. It can be used as form of evaluating research methods and presentation styles.
