Rio Norte Did It!
Thanksgiving is behind us. The lights are up on the house and many of us are looking for that perfect Christmas tree. Maybe we are looking for that perfect menorah. One thing is for sure, it is a busy season no matter what is going on in the world.
As educators, we have to remind ourselves that with only two more weeks left, it is ok if we do not get to the end of the pacing calendar. It is ok if we do not finish teaching all of the standards. We have to remember that our students are watching us. Their attitude will mimic our attitude. If our students see our stress, they will be stressed. Please take the next two weeks and give yourself permission to slow down. We are over that hump. When March 13th hit, we were stressed and did not know where we were going, but then it was summer vacation. Then August came. Again we were stressed and not as prepared as we wanted to be, but here we are in December. This year has been challenging, but guess what? We did it. You did it! The students did it. Rio Norte did it. Take a deep breath. You got this!
