Luv2Code Feb. 1-12
FHSD is providing the opportunity for students to participate in the "Hour of Code." It was recognized in December across the country. This year FH decided to promote and provide the opportunity in February. I have been asked to facilitate this through the learning commons. I'm very excited and think it's a great opportunity for our staff and students! During the first 2 weeks in February we will be offering activities in the LC. These activities will take place during your lesson times to reach all students. You will notice some of the activities will also relate to the Maker Spaces that we will be doing soon! If you would like additional information about the "Hour of Code" please take a look at this website below.
Lunch and Learn- Maker Spaces
We will be offering a lunch and learn on Friday, February 19. A lunch google form will be sent out in early February.
Maker Spaces
Students will have the opportunity to participate in the Maker Spaces activities during library times the weeks of February 22-March 4. I would like to offer this activity once a quarter and maybe more after we see how it's going to work. Still accepting donations for Maker Spaces. We would like old mathh manipulatives, stencils, office supplies, paper, colored pencils, play-doh, really anything that you aren't using anymore.
