Ms. Ramsey
Botanical Gardens fun!
Market Day was AMAZING!
Narrative Writing
Please make sure your child has finished typing their final drafts by Tuesday, April 11th, and it is saved on their flash drive as a Microsoft Word file. I have told the students this: although I'd love for them to practice and improve their typing skills, I do not want it to take an extreme amount of time. You are welcome to type to your child as they read you the story :) You then can help them edit and revise as you go ands see comments/ questions I have provided to help guide you child to the next level as an author!
If you want to work with your child on breaking the pages up for their story, that would be extremely helpful! If you do not have a printer, I will print the story for your child at FSAPS, but if you want to print the pages, that would also be helpful.
Third grade will have Author's Night on Monday, April 17th to displayed our books from 5-6 p.m. There will be refreshments and light snacks provide by FSAPS. It is required for your child to attend, however I will make exceptions for extraneous scenarios.
