Lesson Plans/Sub Plans
- Emergency plans only get us so far.
- We need to keep students as current as possible in their learning.
- We had no method of gathering where you currently on in the curriculum.
We don't want to add anything new to what you have to do, but we need to have access to where you are with lessons in your room.
Everyone keeps a plan book or writes their plans down. We are asking that these are out on your desk or reading table. If you typically take your plan book home, please have a copy of your plans made on Monday to have on your table.
This only needs to have down where you are. For example, Monday might say:
- Math - 3.2
- Reading - Unit 1 day 7
- Writing - Unit 1 day 8
- Social Studies - Latitude/Longitude
We don't want to add anything new, everyone has to do plans, we just need to have them on your desk or guided reading table so we can use them if needed. We'd like you to start having your plan book, or a copy, available on September 28th.
If you happen to need to go out over the weekend and you have your plan book at home, we will ask you to send us a picture of what you have planned.
This will help us continue your current plans for the week, then use the emergency plans when those run out.
Please please let us know if you have any questions at all about what we are asking.
Playground Balls
Thank you for helping make sure the equipment is cared for and accessible by the next group coming out.

Message from Marty
How are you coming along with this assignment?
Decide as a team what day you would keep tallies for redirects.
On the chart, you will tally how many redirects a student had during the day.
Once you've completed the tally day, you will meet as a team to discuss and ask yourself the following questions.
- Which students am I redirecting too often?
- What time of day has the most redirects? (I need to tighten up expectations here.)
- Which gender do I redirect the most?
- What ethnicity do I redirect the most?
- What did our team learn from this activity and what will we do next?
Be prepared with your tally chart and reflection on these questions when Marty returns on October 7th.
