Celebrating Thanksgiving at BBE

Kindergarten's annual Thanksgiving program will be held in the BBE cafeteria on Friday, November 19 at 2:15 pm for parents of KG students to attend. Please check-in with your ID in the front office.

Due to supply disruptions and shortages, Humble ISD Nutrition will not be hosting a Thanksgiving Feast this year for parents to attend. A Thanksgiving menu will be served on November 16th for students only.

Parent Survey - Lunches at BBE

BBE is asking for parents' input regarding lunch visitors. Currently, parents are welcome to visit your child at lunch to celebrate his/her birthday or half-birthday, as well as eat lunch with your child any day of the week outside on the picnic tables. Please complete the BBE Lunch Parent Survey so we may accommodate parents' concerns as we consider our lunch visitor policy for the second half of the school year.

Spirit Day with Papa Johns, Wednesday Nov 17th

Be sure to mention BEAR BRANCH ELEMENTARY SPIRIT NIGHT when placing your order. The fundraiser runs from 10:00 am - 11:00 pm, for either carryout or delivery. 20% of all orders when you mention BBE will be donated to the PTA. 281-361-7272

Thanksgiving Pies for Teachers and Staff

Your pie can be homemade or store bought. Please deliver your pie(s) the morning of Friday, November 19. Parent Volunteers will be at both entrances to accept donations during drop off.

Thank you for helping show our teachers and staff how much they are loved and appreciated!

PTA PICTURES WITH SANTA!!

Join BBE PTA on Wednesday, December 1st, after school, at the Bear Branch Gazebo for hot cocoa, cookies and story time to kick off the holidays. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there! Families will be able to sign up in advance for a 5 minute photo session with Santa, between 2:30 - 5:00 pm. Donations are welcome on site and will benefit the staff and students of BBE. Please go to bbepta.com to schedule.

Nutcracker

5th Grade Parents: As our students prepare to take the stage, please be on the lookout for an email from Mrs. Barnes addressing costuming and makeup. We are also in need of volunteers to help behind the curtain with costumes and props. Please sign up at bbepta.com to help support this wonderful BBE Christmas tradition.

Kindergarten & First Grade Science Lab Volunteers Needed!

Be a science hero and volunteer in your student's classroom! Kindergarten and First Grade science lab is a great opportunity for you to be in your child's classroom and explore science together. You don't have to be a scientist to volunteer. All of the information needed for the labs is provided. We need your help to make the labs successful - plenty of volunteers help the labs run smoothly. Go to bbepta.com to volunteer, and be sure to submit your Humble ISD volunteer application!

Santa's Workshop December 8 - 10

The PTA will host Santa's Workshop from Wednesday - Friday, Dec 8-10 on the stage in the cafeteria. Students will be assigned a day where they will have the opportunity to shop independently for holiday gifts for family, friends, teachers and pets. All purchases are tax-free and pre-wrapped.
