Welcome:

Letter From The CEO:

July 1st marks the midpoint of our Summer Learning Initiative activities. Family events will continue to run every Wednesday at 2:00 for the month of July. These events are drop-in, no registration required, and we meet at the New Freedom Outreach Center at 250 Mountain Ave because they have room for all of us (and A/C).

Teen and tween events also continue through the end of the month. Our teens and tweens meet at the library at 2:00 each Thursday, and registration is required so that we have enough supplies.

For those of you tracking your reading or project goals, this is the month to work on wrapping things up. We’ll accept drawing tickets and give out prizes through the first bit of August, then we’re through for the summer. Bring in your reading logs and punch cards!

Don’t forget that the library will be closed Monday, July 4, for Independence Day.

Stay cool everyone!

Amie P.

Library CEO

The most wonderful time of the year is here, Summer Learning! Click the above photo to download the Summer Learning Booklet, which holds information like how to participate, the events occurring throughout the Summer, and a tracking log. August 13th is the last day to collect treasure box prizes and to turn in tickets for the summer drawings.

August 20th is when winners of the drawings will be notified by this date.

You may also come into the Library to pick up a booklet!

Signing up is simple! You can come in to the library to register, or fill out our online registration form. When your child/teen registers they have the option to pick a book off of the bookshelves in front of Miss Christy's desk.
