Thoughts from Dr. Pacatte
With six weeks of school left, we are running out of time to remind you to register your children for school next year! We are already planning for the new year and determining how many students we may have at each grade level. You can help us by completing registration. If you are moving out of district, please let us know that as well. The last day to register your child(ren) and start on time is August 5th. If you register your child on August 6th, they will not start on the first day, August 22nd. Registration opened on April 11th, which means you will have 105 days to complete registration before we cut it off. If you are not sure if you will be returning, I would suggest you complete the registration. You do not have to pay at point of registration! You can pay at any time prior to the first day of school.
New this year...
The district is following a new proof of residency process that will not require you to provide proof of residency at time of registration. The district will use the information you have provided to confirm your residency. If we are unable to confirm your residency, you will receive an email in June letting you know that it is necessary for you to provide documentation.
There are two things you can do to make this process easier for everyone:
1. Make sure the email address you have on file in Skyward is correct.
2. Complete the registration on or before August 5th.
Again, payment is not due until the first day of school. If you have questions, please call your school secretary or Aurora in the District Office.

Dinosaurs at River Trail
River Trail Kindergarten students had fun activities in their dinosaur unit. They learned how paleontologists use tools to dig for dinosaur bones and went on a cookie dig using the same tools to dig out chocolate chips. They also used pasta noodles to create the skeleton of different kinds of dinosaurs.
ZOO visit at Spaulding School
The AM and PM preschoolers had a blast acting as zoo animals for the Spaulding classes.
